Clear expectations from farm gate to collection.
These terms govern use of the Farm & Folk prototype marketplace in the United Kingdom.
Marketplace role
Farm & Folk connects consumers with independent producers. The selected vendor is the merchant of record and seller of the produce. Farm & Folk provides discovery, order, payment-routing and support technology; it does not manufacture or take title to listed food.
Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and use the service lawfully. Automated abuse, scraping, fraudulent payment activity, harassment, unsafe listings and attempts to bypass access controls are prohibited. Accounts may be restricted while credible safety, fraud or policy concerns are investigated.
Orders, payment and collection
An order is confirmed only after successful payment. Prices are in GBP. Produce is reserved for the stated collection date and window; bring the collection code. Availability is seasonal and the vendor must contact support if an accepted order cannot be fulfilled. Consumer statutory rights remain unaffected.
Cancellations and refunds
Unpaid checkout reservations expire automatically. Refund eligibility for paid perishable goods depends on applicable law and the circumstances, including quality, misdescription and vendor non-fulfilment. Approved refunds return to the original payment method and banking times vary.
Vendor responsibilities
Vendors must keep identity, food descriptions, allergens where applicable, prices, stock, collection information and legally required registrations accurate. Vendors are responsible for food safety, tax, fulfilment, customer service and compliance with UK law. Approval may be suspended for safety, fraud or repeated fulfilment failures.
